well, the candy king decrees that this is a turn-based game.
i suppose i can deal with that; and without being bitter [candy canes are undeniably better sweet]
after all, ive been stuck in the molasses swamp for many and many a moon now.

people say i did better than i think i did; my friends are not to be trusted.
[okay, not really; i just managed to nail every last one of those songs AWFULLY. yes.]
but, the universe stays sane in one and only one way: drew danburry continues to prove one of the greatest people ever. he asked me up on stage and we played 'at a stop in st. regis' together. i didnt sing until the end; i was busy trying not to cry lol.
okay; now i sit back and wait for 6 more months to pass.

I've spent the last 2 hours trying to lower my loser level. I'm really hoping its been working, but I'm pretty sure there's nothing anyone could do at this point.

1) Where did you begin 2006? Sipping wine in Maureen's room.
2) What was your status by Valentine's Day? Very, very taken.
3) Were you in school (anytime this year)? Yeah, actually more often than not.
4) How did you earn your money? Haha... who said I earned money?
5) Did you have to go to the hospital? Yeah, once when I had mono and my throat swelled to the point where I couldn't swallow, and thus was incredibly dehydrated.
6) Did you have any encounters with the police? A few incredibly harrowing ones.... haha... we were pulled over on the way to our motel party the other night. Haha.
7) Where did you go on holiday? I didn't. OH but Bonnaroo was pretty spectacular.
8) What did you purchase that was over $500? Nothing. I almost bought a car, but that has been postponed.
9) Did you know anybody who got married? Actually, I don't think so.
10) Did you know anybody who passed away? Yeah, actually I did.
11) Have you run into anybody you left high school with? Um, I'm still in high school.
12) Did you move anywhere? I do quite a bit of moving on a daily basis.
13) What sporting events did you go to? I actually did go to a few of Atherton's football games.
14) What concerts/shows did you go to? Bonnaroo was spectacular, again... I saw Devendra play. I saw a lot of local shows, and a Drew Danburry show. Yeah.
15) Are you registered to vote? Nope. I'm still a kid.
16) Who did you want to win Big Brother? I hate television.
17) Where do you live now? On planet Earth.
18) Describe your birthday. It was alright. I have some pretty great pictures from that day.
19) What's the one thing you thought you would never do but did? Everything I did this year. Plus most of the things that I said.
20) What has been your favorite moment? I don't know. There have been too many incredibly high points.
21) What's something you learned about yourself? There are certain things that, once taken care of, allow me to be a much better person.
22.) Any new additions to your family? A couple of like adopted 'siblings.'
23.) What was your best month? I don't know. I really liked summer.
24.) What music will you remember 2006 by? The summer. Definitely. Certain music. Also: that one day when shit started to fall apart.
25) Who has been your best drinking buddy? I've probably only been drunk 10 times this year, half of which were in the last 2 weeks. But there are a couple of names.
26) Made new friends? Tons of them. Actually, I've made a few in the past week that I like a ton.
27) best place to hang out? ATTIC FTW.
28) Favourite Night out? All of them were nice at least.
29) Any regrets? Only a kabillion.
30) How many girlfriends/boyfriends have you had? 2.... maybe 3.
31) what was your favorite sports moment? When I pwned your mom.
32) Which season was the best? Summer, always. Duh.
33)How many nights out of 365 days did you not remember? Approximately 300.
34) If you could would you redo the whole year? Actually, probably. But most of it would be the same. Blam.

this is a note to you, my faithful readers.
(PREFACE: dear spenser: thank you oh so much for the link to the quiktime file of schnappy der krokodil; it made my day)
any of you who have nothing to do this saturday night, youre in luck. ive got just the event for you to attend. COLLABORATORY. bam. in CRESCENT HILL. bam. FROM 7:30 til 10:30 (estimated end time) bam.
location specifics will be up tomorrow; im lame and left them at school (in my otherwise empty locker, no less).
attempt by youth and adults of this area to collaborate in the creation and display of multiple forms of art.
baiscally its a super duper open mic night; so bring your poetry, your instument, your comedy, or whatever you could contribute (even if your only contribution is sitting in the audience). Collab is, by, definition, a safe and non-judgemental event; youll be free from the fear of being shunned. its a good thing. oh, and it is completely non-affiliated with the church, even though it is in a church basement.
yeah, me and the guys are playing the opening act and the closing act.... should be pretty fucking cool.
